This site is a free tool for the Yacht Clubs, Skippers, and Crew.
The Yacht Clubs can use the site to advertise their races to the Skippers and Crew by posting their races to the calendar and by being able to send out E-mails to the Skippers and Crew members of the site.
The Skippers can use the site in order to find Crew by posting to individul races in the calendar the need for a certain position to be filled for that weekend or day, or the Skipper can paruse the list of Crew members and look through the resumes and be particular about which individual Crew person they might like to invite to go sailing.
The Crew can use the site to find a Skipper and a ride by posting on their resume that they have certain skills and that they are available on certain days of the race calendar. The Crew can also though look through the list of Skippers and look at the type of boat being sailed via the Skippers resume and decide which skipper to contact about maybe going for a ride.
Its all free to the Yacht Club, the Skippers, and the Crew members.

OK, this is Version 2 of SteadyCrew.com. I listened all year last year to the users of Steadycrew and although some of the changes I could not put into affect during the season because it was already underway, I did put the suggestions that had merit into affect during the winter slow down. Version 2 of SteadyCrew is representative of you the users suggestions. Please try things out and give me more of your famous feedback.
